アイディア

製作のきっかけは、おむつを履いた子供がなかなかウ●チをしたことを教えてくれなかったことです。 親が近くに行かないと気が付けませんでした。したがって、臭いセンサでウ●チをしたことを何かしらで知らせる方法を考えました。 今回は３DCADで設計、3Dプリンタで筐体を作製をしました。3Dプリンタを使ったことで、センサやATOM MATRIXを筐体内に収められることができました。 また、透明な樹脂を使うことできれいに光を拡散してくれたのは良かったです。 上の光るところは大好きなソフトクリームを意識して3Dモデルを作成しました！！！

今後の展望として、ぷーぷーをトイレに置き、臭い検出後に消臭スプレーを噴射する装置と連携するなどを考えています。

苦労した点

時間がない中、アイディア構想、筐体設計、プロトタイプでのプログラムなど一人でしたのでハードでした。 ただし、LINE Notifyでの通知ができるようになったので、今後の使い方で幅が広がったと思います。

Idea

The reason for the creation of this product was that my children in diapers did not easily tell me that they had pooped. We had to get close to them to notice. Therefore, we thought of a way to use an odor sensor to notify them in some way that they had pooped. This time, we used 3D CAD to design and a 3D printer to fabricate the casing, and by using the 3D printer, we were able to fit the sensor and ATOM MATRIX inside the casing. Also, the use of transparent resin diffused the light nicely, which was a good thing. I created the 3D model of the glowing part on top with my favorite soft serve ice cream in mind!

For the future, we are thinking of placing Pu-Pu in a restroom and linking it with a device that sprays deodorant spray after odor detection, etc.

Difficulties

It was hard because I had to conceive the idea, design the case, and program the prototype all by myself with little time. However, now we can use LINE Notify to send notifications, so I think the scope of future usage has expanded.

機能説明

1. 不快指数色表示と臭い検出＆通知 環境センサユニットから取得した気温、湿度から不快指数を計算し、色で表示させている。 また、臭いを検知すると本体の色と光り方が変わり、周囲の人に教えてくれ、LINE Notifyでも通知する。
2. 人検出＆通知 PIRセンサユニットで人を検出して、本体の色とLINE Notifyで通知する。
3. データ収集とグラフ化 ambientを利用し、データ収集、蓄積、グラフ化することで、データの見える化をした。

システム構成

筐体設計、製作

CADソフトFusion360を使い3Dデータを作成した。データ作成後、友人に3Dプリンタで出力してもらった。

プログラム作成

WEB版M5 UI Flowを使い、ブロックをつなぎ合わせ作成した。 LiNE Notifyでの通知やambientへのデータ送信は以下のサイトを参考にして作成した。

Function

1. Discomfort index color display and odor detection & notification The discomfort index is calculated from the temperature and humidity obtained from the environmental sensor unit, and displayed in color. In addition, when it detects an odor, the color and glow of the main unit will change to tell people around it, and it will also notify you by LINE Notify.
2. Human detection and notification The PIR sensor unit detects people and notifies them by the color of the unit and LINE Notify.
3. Data collection and graphing We used ambient to visualize the data by collecting, storing, and graphing the data.

Enclosure design and fabrication

I created the 3D data using the CAD software Fusion360. After creating the data, I asked a friend to output it on a 3D printer.

Program creation

Using the web version of M5 UI Flow, I created the program by connecting blocks together. Notifications with LiNE Notify and sending data to ambient were created by referring to the following sites.
